Old Dead Tree At Sunset

This tree sits on the side of the road leading down to Blue River from Hannagan Meadow which is on the Coronado Trail Hwy 191 in Arizona. Problem is sitting on the side of this road means that to take this shot I was standing on the side of the road with a 500' drop beside me and I was sliding toward that drop. I got the shot as you can see and did not end up at the bottom of a canyon.

  • Arizona Sunset From Hwy 191...This was take from the side of Hwy 191 as the sun was setting and was just below the horizon highlighting the clouds that were just peaking over the horizon.

  • Sunset from the Overlook I...Arizona has some of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen and no two alike. This was taken off Hwy 261 at the Scenic Overlook which has this fantastic view of the Round Valley up in the White Mountains as well as you can see 50 to 100 miles or more when the weather permits. It is a great place to take sunsets or lightning photos as you can see all the surrounding area.

  • Sunset Over Hooper's Ranch I...Just north of Springerville, Arizona sits Hooper's Ranch in a canyon, this section of the ranch is above the canyon rim and from here I have captured some fantastic sunsets. There is nothing like an Arizona sunset, each is unique as well as beautiful.

  • Took this shot standing on the side of a dirt roadway. My left foot was sliding down the slope while I took the shot, the bottom of the slope was about five hundred feet below...so yes, photographers are crazy when it comes to taking a shot.
