The Shed in Winter, black and white

The shed in our yard after a snow storm had come through. This is black and white as there was not much color to begin with with all the snow. We live on a mesa near Escudilla Mountain in Nutrioso, Arizona and during the winter it does this pretty much all the time. I love it coming from Georgia out here to the mountains of Arizona.

  • Snow on the Black River I...You would think there is no snow in Arizona but you would be wrong. There was about 10 inches of snow on the road running next to the East Fork of the Black River and ice on much of the river itself. The Black River runs through the White Mountains of Arizona, the East Fork runs through a canyon that even though the Wallow Fire did burn some of it is still a beautiful area to camp and visit for the wildlife and scenery.
  • Seventh and Main at Christmas 1...Taken in front of where I live at 11:00 p.m. the temperature was 12 degrees Fahrenheit and still snowing at that time.
  • Seventh and Main at Christmas 2...Taken in front of where I live at 11:00 p.m. the temperature was 12 degrees Fahrenheit and still snowing at that time.
  • Seventh and Main at Christmas 3...Taken in front of where I live at 11:00 p.m. the temperature was 12 degrees Fahrenheit and still snowing at that time.
  • Seventh and Main at Christmas 4...Taken in front of where I live at 11:00 p.m. the temperature was 12 degrees Fahrenheit and still snowing at that time.
  • Seventh and Main at Christmas 5...Taken in front of where I live at 11:00 p.m. the temperature was 12 degrees Fahrenheit and still snowing at that time.
  • My Sidewalk...taken on my birthday just before Christmas of 2011, temperature was around 12-14F and still snowing when I took this shot. Though the weather channel said we only received about three inches I measured and it was ten inches.
